Kick Butts Day 2007 was Wednesday, March 28th! Youth Advisory Board Members asked community members for their opinions about smoking, and filmed their responses. They will edit the footage into a short film. Keep posted for the finished film................

The Youth Live Center kids sent a message to a tobacco company in the form of a
Graffiti Wall. On this wall youth wrote messages about how tobacco has affected
their lives and their family, and then sent the "wall" to a major Tobacco
Company.

the Friday Night Live Youth Advisory Board took part in an awesome and motivational event event called "National Kick Butts Day." On this day thousands of youth in every state and around the world will stand out, speak up and help motivate people to stop smoking.
The YAB stood on the very busy corner of 5th and E street in Marysville and counted over 3000 cars in a little over an hour. Their mission was to count the number of smokers in passing cars and also to count the number of smokers with children in passing cars.
The result was 76 cars with smokers,7 of those cars had children in them.
Overall, National Kick Butts Day was a complete success. The YAB members really felt like they had done their job in getting the message out that April 13th was the day to put one foot forward and make the effort to stop smoking.
